System principle of slurry ice machine:
——Through the bottom of ice-crystal separating tank D, brine is pumped by circulating pump C into the ice maker. The pure water , contained in brine, can then either separate out ice crystal or turn into supercooled water that go back o the tank D again. Later, the supercooled water will separate out ice crystal in the ice-crystal separating tank D. Resulting from buoyancy, crystals set apart from water and distribute to the upper part of the tank D, while brine, locating below, would be pumped back to the ice maker A by ice making water circulation pump C. Repeatedly circulate.
——The ice scraper , mounted on the top of the tank D, would scrape out the ice crystals while in need. Crystals would be delivered to the ice storage tank or slurry ice reproducer, inside which the ice crystal and the water would mix and agitate, according to the pre-calculated recipe , to form slurry ice and pumped to each ice destination by slurry ice pump F.
——Salting tank B is required when using pure water or low concentration brine. Brine pump, equipped on the salting tank, will control over its operation via brine concentration sensor and controller to automatically maintain brine(in the tank D) concentration within setting range.
——When the rate of ice crystal is less demanded, ice maker A and reproducer F can be connected directly for periodic interval ice making. Ice maker will stop running when the crystal rate meeting requirement, while the slurry ice reproducer would work. The slurry ice produced would be pumped out by the slurry ice pump G. Circulation pump E, the same as circulation pump C, would circulate water.
